A pair of Doves out on a limb?

A Robin searching for worms?

A squirrel nibbling fresh buds from a Maple tree?

A lone acrobatic Grackle?

A Junco thinking about heading north?

A beautiful Spring day?
YES!!!

He’s holding on and singing that spring is here! Lovely shot!
Really nice images of the others as well.
Thanks Carletta!
Great series of birds and photos. I like the look on the last Junco. Cute capture.
Thank you Eileen!
Good series!! Keep the Junco coming north. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
I love those cute little Juncos, but it seems like they’ve been around for a long time this winter. I’ve seen more of them this year, too.
Lovley images of your beautiful birds. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent photos of some super birds!!
Excellent series and sings “spring!”
Ah,treasures in the true sense of the word, brilliant!
theconstantwalker, Sondra, hootnonny and Amila -thanks for stopping by!
All these have such energy! Love the squirrel! LOL
Thanks Margaret.
Nice series of birds – and – since we don’t have any squirrels out here in Australia I always think they are extra cute.
Thanks Mick! They can sometimes be pests around the bird feeders, but I love to watch and photograph the squirrels.
lol, it has a lot to sing about I think. It is spring now.
My entries if you like to visit them.

I love the spirit of your post. What’s there to sing about? Spring of course.
Bring IT!
Thanks Springman!
Those are all great photos! Yes, sing!
Thanks TexWisGirl!
The Goldie is enjoying the sunshine and the return of Spring … who wouldn’t.
You’ve got that right, Frank!
Great series of pictures and I love the post. Just wait a couple more weeks and they will even be prettier.
Thanks Bill.
You really captured that squirrel in a compromising position, didn’t ya?! heheheee
The birds are beautiful! =)
Thanks Tricia. Those squirrels are pretty acrobatic.
Those photos are gorgeous!
Love the birdies, especially the Grackle
And the acrobatic squirrel. Way cool
Thanks Nicole!
Great pictures of the birds! You are either lucky or very patient. We have mourning doves, I adore them. Saw my first robin a week ago. We have crows, but your Grackle is hilarious!
Patience does pay off! Thanks for stopping by.
A beautiful spring day indeed! wonderful captures!
Thank you Pat!
You got me with the Goldfinch and it got better as I scrolled down. Super images and captions!
Thanks so much Jean!
Nice photos- a lot of the same creatures I’m seeing around here.
Thank you Mike!
Thanks for stopping by my Sharp-shinned Hawk… I enjoyed seeing your series of birds… and especially enjoyed the Junco! They visit me in winter and I have rarely manages a really good shot of one because they seem to spend all their time on the deck UNDER my table where the light is no good!
Those Juncos aren’t very cooperative photo subjects. Sometimes you get lucky!
Great photos! I’d be singing about the squirrel personally – I love taking photos of them when the opportunity arises.
Thanks Kristi!
Pat, these are such special shots! I have several in my archives but nothing clear and near.
I just read about Gracie. Reminds me so much of the many dogs we lost (Bogart, Sweepy’s brother, died last year) and of the many “holes” and corners that carried their memories.
We must consider ourselves lucky to have these animals be part of our lives! Have a warm week!
Lui, Thanks so much! I really enjoy reading about your wonderful dogs.
Beautiful spring series, Pat. I love the squirrel, how he uses his little paws! Nice post!
lovely photo’s, first one is my favorite
All great pictures. You must have been busy!
Thanks Hilke, Ryan and Samson!
Just beautiful Pat!
He truly does look like he’s singing his little heart out!!
Thank you Lisa!
All shots are great! The squirrel looks so funny.
Thanks JM!
Love your bird photos. They are fantastic. Hope you have a great week.
Thank you Laura!
