some pretty cardinal sent me over from your sunday best, but then i saw this cute guy and and was drawn in by that little speckled chest.
The detail of his/her chest feathers is great!

We were just talking about the Robins in our garden this morning. They have had such a difficult time this summer bringing their young to maturity because of the other birds and the squirrels eating their eggs and young.
They do have to be ever vigilant against Blue Jays, Grackles, squirrels and the occasional roving cat around her too!
Wow, you got a good shot! They really have such interesting markings at the stage.
