This is amazing! How come the birds never pose for me! Your photography is outstanding!
Great capture, what a beautiful colour this little bird is. Love the depth of field you’ve used.
I just love Cardinals…they are so ruby red when they become adults…I have noticed a large number of them here in our area this year.
they look like awkward teens.
Great close-up of this colorful bird!
I love the disheveled look of the babies!
It certainly is! Margie
Solche wunderschönen Vögel gibt es bei uns wohl nicht.
Sehr schönes Foto.

Lovely shot with wonderful bokeh!
Beautiful! What a great title!
Fantastic shot and what amazing colours, thanks for visiting today and leaving such a lovely comment on my blog….
This is really beautiful, Pat.
Love the shot and the caption!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
…and it’s an excellent side!
I love the red cardinals. I wish we had them here. Great photo, Pat.
By the way, yesterday was the first day a squirrel made it onto our 2nd floor deck where all the bird feeders are. We’ve seen him in the trees in yard all this time, but has always stayed away. He came on the deck again this morning, trying to get to the feeders, but hasn’t been successful yet. I’m sure he will figure it out – LOL! Do you have recommendations on squirrel guards for the feeders.
Maybe he will pose for me and let me get a good photo of him.
he´s lerning fast. Great shot.
I agree! The light in this one is awesome. Beautiful bokeh, too!
How wonderfully lovely!
Fantastic shot! LOVE the bokeh too!
Love that ‘do’!
Great shot, Pat! Bet he can’t wait ’til he has feathers like Dad’s.
Wow!!! A favorite bird of mine, and such a beautiful capture!!
