They really ARE busy bodies, right now, aren’t they… running here, there & everywhere gathering up nuts… I saw a woolly worm the other day all in black & they say that & the squirrels running around frantic is a sure sign of a bad winter, so we’ll see.

That’s quite a huge nut in his mouth. Amazing that he can still balance so well while holding onto his snack. Funny little critters and great shots!

I always admire the agility of these creatures-and this little fellow with that acorn in his mouth the whole time, too! Oddly in my town, the only squirrels to be found stay on the local college campus. Maybe they are all studious, as well as agile:)

That is one busy squirrel. We have lots of them around here and they certainly are busy right about now. Mostly they come to my bird feeders, but yesterday I saw one running up the tree with a mouthfull of nesting material Hope you have a great weekend.
