Wild Bird Wednesday
Such a regal bird portrait! You’ve captured such wonderful details.
FABULOUS!!! i love these birds – and the way their spots seem to float on their chests.

Oh, you are so lucky! I’ve only seen one here from a distance. I just love these. You photographed him beautifully!
Pat, wonderful image! We currently have a Flicker that has taken to tapping on the metal cap on our chimney! Don’t know why. It echoes through the whole house. Wish it wouldn’t! Especially at 6:30 am!
A most beautiful bird..we love the Flicker and always delighted when they visit our yard..
What an outstanding capture of this beautiful bird and that texture just adds to it’s beauty!!
This is magnificent, Pat!
Such a pretty bird and a great photographer!
We had 25 mm of soft rain overnight! Wonderful – I can hear my garden cheering!

Nice shot!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Quite an array of different colors in that portrait of the flicker!
What a gorgeous, perfect shot of that remarkable bird! Love your texture, too.
I just love these birds! They are very skittish though, at least the ones that come around here. Fantastic flicker portrait, Pat!
This is lovely!
Awesome capture. I’ve only had a flicker visit briefly once in my back yard and he never came again. Bummer.
A very nice closeup!
How did you get that flicker to look up? I have photos of flicker tail as they are always anting when I see them. Great photo Pat….Michelle
