Haha, die Nuss ist zu gross
he’s gotta mouthful! =0
The red color of a cardinal and the blue of a bluejay are such beautiful colors to me! We have only Stellar Jays around here. This is a delightfully composed image, too!
Pat, that is just the perfect capture! I like your idea of feeding them peanuts; I may have to try it.
What a superb capture. Excellent photography.
Happy Macro Monday!
beautiful! things are ‘looking up’, he’s thinking.
Wow – what a gorgeous shot. And such a huge peanut!
Pat, beautiful shot!
Great capture….love bluejays!
Oh my gosh, this is awesome! It amazes me that they seem to go for the biggest nuts. Blue jays are some bold birds, aren’t they?
Up close and personal with this jay. Just gorgeous Pat. Wow! Margie
Pat, this is absolutely gorgeous!
what a pretty bird. we have alot of them here and I enjoy them, but the red bellied woodpeckers keep them in line, lol.
That is one mouthful!
Great view of that face and those eyes…
Such a lovely photography of this beautiful bird! It sure looks proud of its peanut.
I saw a blue jay recently in a nearby tree. I didn’t realize blue jays were this far west, so I figured it to be a rare sighting. I got a photo, but it wasn’t very sharp because it was too far away. Given the coloring and markings, it was a blue jay.
That’s a very cute picture !
Even from over here I can tell that Blue Jays have a fondness for peanuts!

The jay got the prize. Beautiful capture, Pat.
He certainly does have bright eyes! He looks like he’s happy with that peanut.
