Then a powerful wind ripped the tree in half.
At least, I still have some pictures of its lovely flowers.

What beautiful blossoms! So good to have these photos, Pat. That tree will never die now.
Sehr schön liebe Pat, mag Beaarbeitungen gerne.
LG Mathilda ♥
It must have been very beautiful!
I’ve missed out on things like that because I didn’t take pics right away & waited… then, it was too late. =0 Never wait!
Beautiful painting
We also have a crabapple tree in our backyard and I anticipate every spring for it to split in half with the weight of the flowers. Hope it isn’t this year!
awww…
beautiful images!
So sorry to hear about your tree. Your photos are magical!
Oh you’ll miss that one! But the beautiful watercolor is a great replacement!
Pat, very pretty!
What a shame about the tree, but I’m so glad you captured such beauties as this before its demise.
Beautiful flowers. Transmitted delicacy and sweetness.
Preserved in paintings! Margie
Oh I have a crab apple tree outside my window that is dying slowly and will have to come down this year….I will so miss those spring blossoms. beautiful photo, beautiful memories!!
I similarly miss the lilac trees that used to bloom in my parents’ side yard. Wish I had been able to capture them so beautifully!!
Beautiful photos, Pat. A real treasure you have in your crabapple picture. When I was a child, our neighbors had a beautiful flowering crabapple in their front yard. Every spring, they would put a spotlight on it at night. I know you miss yours!
So sad about your tree.
I love both edits of these – nice work.
The hint of blossoms in the first is sweeeeet!
Hi there – nice picture – our Crab Apple tree has apples not flowers at this time of year!

These are beautiful blooms, Pat. So sorry the wind took the top of the tree.
I’m so sorry you lost your beautiful tree! At least you have wonderful reminders from your photos.

Beautiful! You will always have this lovely photo to remember it by
Oh, these are beautiful – especially that second one!
Oh, how lovely! And how sad that you lost the beautiful tree. Your texture work is delightful.
I love water colors, what a beautiful piece of art.
Lovely! I take pictures of the craziest things sometimes but now I can justify that by saying one day it might be gone and the photo will be all I have
Sorry about your tree, but at least there is some of it left!
Beautiful images, and love the texture you used. So sad, the tree was ripped in half.
This is exactly the same thing that happened to one of our crabapple trees, Pat, but it did come back. Surely a very, very strange shape now, but I thought for sure we’d lost it.
I just love what you did with this one. So beautiful.
That’s sad about your tree. THe flowers are lovely. It’s nice to at least have the photos.
I am sorry that you lost your pretty tree…
