Wild Bird Wednesday
Beautiful shot with the details in the feathers! Is that snow on those apples?
That is snow.
Oh, they are beautiful, Pat, and it looks like you’re keeping them very happy!
Fantastic photo Pat, they sure look like they are enjoying those apple slices :)
Wunderschön. Die kommen im Moment gar nicht, muß wohl erst Schnee fallen.
LG Mathilda ♥
You are keeping the Starlings happy and well fed. Pretty shot of their feathers.
Beautiful…! it’s almost like you caught them in the middle of a conversation :)
Pat, great shot! The Starlings are so well coloured!
cute little speckled things. :)
Beautiful speckled birds. What kind are they?
I love the Starlings winter plumage. I had a flock raiding my feeders today!
Thank you! I never thought about putting fruit slices in there. I have the same basket. :) Great photo of the starlings!
We’re starting to get more of these. They love the suet blocks!
Really amazing sharpness on their feathers. A great capture.
Why are such pretty-feathered birds so disgusting? :-)
Pat, beautiful shot! :)
I just love the markings on Starlings! And your photo does them justice Pat!
For being such noisy birds in flocks, they sure are cuties!…:)JP
Oowedo Pat! What beautiful colors together and details on those birds. Margie
The contrast of the apple to the more subdued colours works really well
The beautiful Starlings! Love it.
A flock of 20 snarling found my yard… Yikes they eat a lot
What a good idea. I wonder if they could eat them when they instantly froze in our frigid weather.
These birds may not be popular in some parts of the world, but they do look good.

Once again proving a camera in the right hands can make even Starlings look great!
That dusting of snow on the fruit looks like powdered sugar – yum!
The starlings are gorgeous and they seem to enjoy the apples.
