Grackle Glare

This juvenile seems to be practicing the sinister glare for which Grackles are known.  The adults have yellow eyes. which make them appear even more threatening.

  1. good pick up. I’m getting the opinion that the Grackles might be a little intimidating to other birds, are they?

  2. Part of that glare is definitely the tilt of the head…but the yellow eyes are much fiercer-looking. :-)
