and Your Sunday Best
I can hear the horse neighing in my mind as it clops to a halt as its owner pulls back on the reins…What a photo. You must live in Amish country, then… 😉
What a darling carriage!
Great way to travel!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
great title for this shot. 🙂

I wonder what it would be like to travel in this manner. We often see horse and buggies when we visit Amish country.
Here’s my CC:
Wonderful shot of horse cart.
I can’t say I’m not a little envious of the slower pace. Love it!
Just too wonderful! Fabulous picture really encompasses the essence of Amish life in the one shot. Great job!
Wonderful shot, Pat. 🙂
Such a charming shot. Too bad they have to have the ugly traffic security thing on their buggies.
I thought of YOUR pictures when I found BlipFoto.com–I always love your shot-of-the-day. 🙂
I wished I could ride in the coach !
OMG, a horse that can read.
Such a timeless scene and image. Love the splashes of unexpected red!

Wonderful carriage, like a movie.
This brought back some wonderful memories. I have a good friend who was from PA and I had the chance to visit. We went through Amish Country and it was just amazing seeing how these people live and work. Great shot.
I love it. What fun it would be to travel this way!
I’d like to have a ride 🙂
Thanks for dropping by.
Loved this image!!!!! I have a special place in my heart for the Amish. They live a life of such simplicity…always something I think I would like.
Wonderful perspective and beautiful light Pat.
I hope your Monday was a good one!
so cool with the STOP sign. 🙂
A wonderfully atmospheric image 🙂
Great photo! As long as they can afford horsie food, they don’t need to worry about the price at the pump! Thanks for sharing. It’s a reminder that we all need to slow down and enjoy the scenery along life’s way!

We visited the Amish community of Jamesport, Mo. back in March and I could not get enough shots of the horse and buggy’s.
