The High Road
The Low Road
Linking to Rural Thursday,
this or that thursday
nice shots! gret work… 🙂
I see so many squirrels with nut in their mouth like this at this time of year!
Nicely captured…. pesky squirrel!
Lovely shots! They may be pests but they have character.
Such wonderfully acrobatic pics!
Oh is he ever cute ! Great shot.
they are SO cute! 🙂 rascals.
So cute, Pat–you gave me the first chuckle of the morning. We see this occasionally, but you got a great capture.
Great photos, Pat! These guys are frantic this time of year 🙂
They really ARE busy bodies, right now, aren’t they… running here, there & everywhere gathering up nuts… I saw a woolly worm the other day all in black & they say that & the squirrels running around frantic is a sure sign of a bad winter, so we’ll see.
Wonderful captures! =)
So cute! Gave me a smile this morning.
Wie wunder…wunderschööön!! ♥
That’s quite a huge nut in his mouth. Amazing that he can still balance so well while holding onto his snack. Funny little critters and great shots!
How fun to watch them do all the things they do this time of year.
Neat capture, Pat. His feet are a lot stronger than mine, lol!
I must say the low road had me laughing out loud. Great captures. B
Great catch! Love that mouth action.
I am constantly amazed at your patience. You get the most best nature shots!
Wonderful — great combo, both great pictures….. (And they will take any route at all to the food won’t they?)
Isn’t it amazing how they can walk along those wires?
These are great shots, Pat.
Never losing their purpose!
Lovely shots, you know squirrels hum the theme to mission impossible when they go along those wires 😉
Lovely photos. I wish I had one squirrel at home…
Great series!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
An awesome post!
You caught him or her. How funny. Great shots.
Thanks for commenting on Planet of the Apels.
I always admire the agility of these creatures-and this little fellow with that acorn in his mouth the whole time, too! Oddly in my town, the only squirrels to be found stay on the local college campus. Maybe they are all studious, as well as agile:)
I never knew squirrels were Scottish!!
Loved this, Pat!
Your captions made these photos that much better. 🙂
Wow, your last pic is a real keeper! Great shot, Pat!
That is one busy squirrel. We have lots of them around here and they certainly are busy right about now. Mostly they come to my bird feeders, but yesterday I saw one running up the tree with a mouthfull of nesting material Hope you have a great weekend.

Those are great shots, Pat! They move so fast it’s hard to get a good motion shot, but you did it well in the second photo! Adorable.
Beautiful pictures, I love.
